I made my portfolio available at new microstock agency. Stockfresh

It is a really "fresh" agency working since June 2010. They made very good work. Website looks great and is userfriendly. It is very simple for submitters to upload and manage their images. Thanks Stockfresh!!!

Freelance tips

My personal Tips and guide how to became a freelancer:

1. Make microstock to have some stable sallary.

2. Register & submit your work to most popular microstock sites. It's free!

3. Find jobs on freelance sites. In my opinion these are the best:

3. Recycle your work. 

Reuse & recyle your ideas, images and symbols you've created.

Inspirate anywhere but do not copy! 

You are uinique and original human being so let your art to be so.

5. Don't give up!
You are putting all your time, yourself, your knowledge in your business. It will take a long time to be on top. But never give up, when there is rejection, some problem or something bad in your freelance career. Everytime people stop working when they are only few steps from victory!

How I became Freelancer

It was 2 years ago and I felt like a bomb. There was a big war in myself and from day to day it was worse and worse. I thought I will explode. I felt that something must change in my life.  I hated my job and my crazy boss. I hated what I have to design for him because it was so stupid things. And I felt that I have no more taste to draw, paint, animate or design. I was really bored and there was no more creativity and inspiration in me. So I give a notice and moved to Prague. I started to find on internet how to sell illustrations, animations or graphic design online. Soon I found some small external jobs through freelance sites...but most atractive for me looked microstock. This was really interesting for me in my situation so I tried it. It seems I can not make lot of money from this business but it was not truth. In one year I became independent from other types of earnings and made enough cash to supply my family. Now I am fulltime Freelancer and I work when I want. I am my own boss, I have more time for myself and for my family. There are tons of sites or books how to become a Freelancer. You can choose your own way...

What would be in my blog?

I will write, comment, add links of news and interesting things in design, illustration, animation, movies, web, microstock or freelance. What else should be interesting for freelance designers who are interested in this like me? To share. Thats the word of nowadays. Share, share, share. So I decided to share also.
